How many teaching hours do you need to do?

It depends on the duration of your contract:

• 4.5 years contract: 880 teaching hours (10%).
• 5 years contract: 1760 teaching hours (20%).

How to get teaching hours?

1) Being a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a course

2) Supervising a bachelor project (**Kandidatarbete)**

• 20h + 10h/student

3) Supervising a master's thesis (Examensarbete)

• 60h

Reporting teaching hours

It may depend on your department, but usually we send an email to the director of studies of the department to report how many hours of teaching we did for each course.
